Hurghada

Program:

Day 1. Cairo (travel time approx. 6 hours)

Departure from the hotel (around 1am) travel to Cairo.

After we arrive, we start sightseeing. We will go to the National Egyptian Museum, where we will have the opportunity to see the collection of over 120,000 exhibits showing the magnificent civilization of ancient Egypt, the treasures of Tutankhamen (gold mask, jewelry and utility items). Enter the Hall of the Royal Mummy - extra paid 200LE.

After leaving the Museum, it is worth taking a cruise on the Nile by Felucca - a traditional Egyptian sailing boat (additional $ 10 for the volunteers).

Then lunch in the restaurant on the Nile in the form of a buffet (drinks additionally payable).

The next stage of our trip will be the Ancient Cairo, or Giza with the magnificent pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos, and the majestic Sphinx (for those eager to enter the interior of the Cheops pyramid, extra paid 200LE / person).

We will also join the perfumery, where the fragrances are prepared from natural essential oils and the Papyrus Institute where we will look at the papyrus production process.

Accommodation in a hotel. Supper. Accommodation.

Early breakfast. Departure by bus to Alexandria at 8:00 We will start our trip from the Montaza Gardens, where there is the Palace of King Faruka. The possibility of seeing the palace from the outside.

Then we will go to Montaza beach - there is about 1 hour of free time. Possibility of taking a bath in the Mediterranean, walks around the palace, time for photos.

Take the main promenade of Alexandria to the panorama of the Library of Alexandria - here is free time to photograph the library and drive to the fortress of Kajt Bej , which was once the basis of the famous Faros Lighthouse.

Visiting the fortress for volunteers (additional fee), then transfer to the restaurant for dinner in the form of a buffet (drinks additionally payable).

Return to Hurghada.
